Your presence and participation strengthen our community’s awareness of human trafficking, a serious problem in Central Florida. With Greater Orlando ranking third in the nation for calls to the human trafficking hotline, it is crucial that we continue to assist those affected and educate the public on recognizing and preventing this heinous crime.
This year’s gala marked The Lifeboat Project’s 11th year of dedicated service in fighting human trafficking. Over the years, we have provided vital services to those in need, including housing, food, clothing, healthcare, mental health counseling, education, and assistance in reentering the workforce. Our impact extends to over 300 survivors and more than 10,000 residents and law enforcement personnel trained to identify and combat human trafficking.
Our Yacht Rock themed gala was filled with many memorable moments. Guests enjoyed an evening of smooth yacht rock music, heartfelt speeches, and powerful survivor stories. The atmosphere was one of unity and shared purpose, as we all came together to support a common cause.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our attendees and supporters, the funds raised during the gala will allow us to continue our critical work. These funds are essential for supporting adults and mothers with children who have been victimized through unspeakable actions. Your donations enable us to provide the comprehensive care and resources necessary for their recovery and empowerment.
