Her journey began when she learned about the issue of human trafficking at Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. for a conference with the Presbyterian Women. She was advocating for the Violence Against Women Act, and it was then that she learned about the immense problem of human trafficking in our nation. Fueled by compassion and a drive to make a difference, Jill founded The Lifeboat Project to provide comprehensive support to survivors, offering them a safe harbor and the resources they need to rebuild their lives.
Under Jill’s leadership, The Lifeboat Project has grown into a beacon of hope for many. The organization offers a range of services including safe housing, counseling, education, and job training, all designed to help survivors regain their independence and self-worth. Jill’s innovative approach and unwavering commitment have transformed countless lives, making her a true force for good in the community.
